Mission Statement 

Spotlight Performance Collective is a not for profit theatrical organization founded in August 2022. We are passionate about the creation, development, and advancement of theatre that explores new ideas and authentic storytelling. Our collective is made up of risk takers who produce theatre that is accessible, inspires, challenges, and entertains. Focusing primarily on Canadian works and new play development that enriches the community of Grande Prairie, Alberta.

    Written on the body is about our bodies and the stories they tell everyone we meet, or even pass silently by without the opportunity to explain. White Rabbit Red Rabbit will feature a performance with no rehearsal, no director, a different actor each night, and a script waiting in a sealed envelope.

Land Acknowledgement 

In the spirit of reconciliation, Spotlight Performance Collective acknowledges that we live, work and create on the traditional territories of the Indigenous Peoples of the Treaty 8 region and the Metis Nation of Alberta (Regions 1, 4, 5 and 6). We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us. They were the original occupants of this land and continue to be here to this day. Spotlight Performance Collective is grateful to have the opportunity to present in this territory.
