Alberta Drama Festival Association

PEACE REGION 

Formed in 1969, the Alberta Drama Festival Association (ADFA) is an umbrella organization for adult amateur drama activity in the province of Alberta. The ADFA runs an annual series of ten regional one-act play festivals that culminate into the ADFA Provincial One Act Play Festival. The Provincial Festival is a non-competitive celebration of Drama supporting community theatre in Alberta. The ADFA is a non-profit association incorporated under the Societies Act of Alberta with no paid personnel. The executive and regional associations are made up of individuals who donate their time and energy to the community theatre of this province.

The ADFA is composed of ten regions across Alberta. The Peace Country Region covers an area West of Whitecourt. It includes the communities of Grande Prairie, Valleyview, Sexsmith, Beaverlodge, Spirit River, Peace River, Grimshaw and Fort Vermillion.
